2007 - Cesars Way - Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer) audiobook !

Fans of the National Geographic Channel's The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan will be grateful for Cesar's Way, an accessible guide to help new and current dog owners better understand the needs of their beloved pets. If you are not yet a fan, try to catch a couple of episodes of the remarkable show--you will be amazed, impressed, and motivated to create a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with your dog. In Cesar's Way, Cesar explains that dogs are not complicated, and despite what various owners think--not human. They rely on three key elements in their lives: exercise, discipline, and affection (in that order). "Problem dogs" can be attributed to "problem owners," owners who don't understand and misinterpret their dog's behavior. Cesar's Way is really a training program for dog owners, with chapters devoted to understanding the "power of the pack," taking responsibility for "how we screw up our dogs," and learning how to manage aggression. Cesar's book (a must-have for new and old dog owners) moves beyond basic obedience school techniques, and teaches owners how to change unwanted behavior by better understanding their "best friends."

2008 - Willie Nelson - Moment Of Forever !!

Countless Westerns have centered around the theme of a young turk coming into town to try to take down a legendary gunslinger. Well, for the past couple of decades, Willie Nelson has turned that imagery on its head, attracting countless younger artists eager to soak up some of his musical mojo and infuse the master's work with some of their own spirit.

Moment of Forever, matches Willie with Kenny Chesney. The very idea of these seemingly disparate characters coming together is intriguing enough on paper. What really counts, however, is how it works on disc -- and work it does, with Chesney's production bringing out Nelson's natural warmth and grace.

While he's written some of the most enduring tunes of the past few decades Nelson has long been considered one of the premiere song interpreters of his time, infusing a surprising array of tunes with his singular personality. This record includes a hushed, poignant version of the Kris Kristofferson-penned title track and a super-heated, album-closing version of Bob Dylan's "Gotta Serve Somebody."

The songs that Nelson wrote for Moment of Forever take on many of the same topics addressed in that pair of tracks -- taking stock of a life well lived and considering the possibilities of what might lay down the road. On songs like the sweetly twanging "Always Now," Willie comes across like a man who's come to terms with most of those issues, coming to the conclusion that "there never was a used to be...it's always now."

Other highlights include Willie's take on Dave Matthews' "Gravedigger" and tracks like "Worry B Gone" -- where Willie trades verses with Chesney The easy vibe carries over to the gently celebratory "I'm Alive" -- on which Nelson marvels at life's simple pleasures.

Overcoming The Nice Guy Syndrome !! (audiobook)

Very often shy men know exactly what they "should" do with women. They "should" say hi. They "should" ask women out. But for some reason, they can't get themselves to do it. We now understand these reasons, and know how to overcome them--and so can you, with this new audio course.

If you are a shy guy, all the "techniques," "pickup lines," or "motivational visualizations" in the world won't help you. The problem deeper than that, and has to be addressed, or you will stay shy. This course addresses those deeper reasons, and gives you concrete, tested ways to become less shy with women.

Imagine going from feeling guilty, afraid, or ashamed with women to feeling good about showing romantic interest, and having it work for both you and the woman! That's what Overcoming the Nice Guy Syndrome is about.

This course is for you if:

• You often seem to end up a woman's "friend" when you would rather be lovers
• You have an especially difficult time showing sexual interest in a woman
• Deep down, you feel like showing romantic or sexual interest in a woman is "using" her in some way, unless you get into a relationship with her
• Women feel safe with you, but then go with "bad boys," whom you don't want to be like, no matter what the cost
• You are especially shy with women and feel guilty when you try to talk with them

2008 - Kitaro - The Definitive Collection !!

While listening to music by Japanese-born, US-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Kitar, it is hard to believe he started out as a rock musician, inspired by the rhythm and blues of Otis Redding and by playing guitar, bass and drums in high school bands. In the early 1970s he changed completely to keyboards, joining the Far East Family Band. A meeting with established guru of the electronic music scene, Klaus Schulze, who gave Kitaro some tips for the use of synthesizers, might have had an impact on Kitaro's decision to start his solo career in 1977. He eventually achieved fame as a composer and performer of "atmospheric" electronic music. This collection may or may not be "definitive," but provides a quick look at Kitaro's career, with tracks taken from several albums, as well as The Best of Ten Years (1976 - 1986) collection.

2007 - Robin Cook - Critical !! (audiobook)

Last seen in 2006's Crisis, New York City medical examiner Laurie Montgomery diligently investigates an abrupt rise in infection deaths at the start of bestseller Cook's lively new thriller. All the deaths can be traced to three Manhattan hospitals owned by Angels Healthcare. Unbeknownst to Montgomery, Angels, which specializes in high-profit surgeries of amply insured patients, is on the verge of going public and can't risk any bad publicity. She's also unaware that Angels' main financial backer is a local Mafia don, who's prepared to kill anyone standing in the way of his investment. Cook smoothly juggles several subplots—one involving Montgomery's husband and fellow coroner, Jack Stapleton, who's suffered a serious knee injury playing basketball—and ekes out maximum value from one of his regular standbys, bumbling hoods. It all adds up to an entertaining mix of suspense, action and education about medical issues.
